Terms of use

These terms cover the use of raidjury.com. By reading the docket you accept them. They are written in plain language on purpose — there is nothing here that needs a magnifying glass.

1. What this site is

RaidJury is an editorial site. It publishes reviews of mobile games listed on Google Play, together with a verdict from a fixed set of four criteria. Every verdict, stamp and bench note is the opinion of the editorial desk. It is not advice, not a guarantee of quality and not a statement about what any particular reader will enjoy.

2. Ratings and figures

The rating shown for each title is the Google Play rating as published at the time of the hearing, together with the number of ratings behind it. Those figures move over time and belong to Google, not to us. If you find a figure on this site that no longer matches the store listing, write to inbox@raidjury.com and the entry will be corrected.

3. Advertising disclosure

• The site is open to read and asks for no account.
• The site carries advertising placements: display slots, and promotional placements for mobile titles that link to their Google Play listing.
• Advertising has no bearing on a verdict. The four criteria are applied before any commercial conversation takes place, and no placement can change a stamp, an ordering or a bench note.
• Where an entry or a link is an advertising placement, it carries an "Advertising placement" tag. Entries without that tag are ordinary editorial entries.

4. No affiliation

RaidJury is independent. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or otherwise connected to Google LLC, and we have no commercial relationship with the developers named on the docket unless an entry says otherwise in the tag described above. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC.

5. Intellectual property

Game titles, app icons and screenshots remain the property of their respective developers and rights holders. They appear here for the purpose of identification and review. The editorial text, the criteria, the verdict stamps, the layout and the RaidJury name are ours; do not republish them in full without written permission. Short quotations with a link back to the entry are welcome.

6. Links to other sites

Links to Google Play and other external pages are provided for convenience. We do not control those pages and we are not responsible for their content, their terms or their handling of personal information. Once you follow a link, that site's own rules apply.

7. Availability and accuracy

We try to keep the site available and the entries current, but we do not promise uninterrupted access. Entries describe the version of a title that was installed at the time of the hearing; games are updated frequently, and a later version may behave differently. To the extent permitted by law, the site is provided as it stands, without warranties of any kind.

8. Your use of the site

Please do not attempt to interfere with the site, scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other readers, or present its content as your own. Ordinary reading, sharing and quoting are all fine.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability can be limited, our liability is limited to supplying the content again.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, and the courts of Australia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

11. Changes and contact

If these terms change, the revised version replaces this page and the date at the top is updated. Questions about anything above go to inbox@raidjury.com.
